Emily is an actor based in Washington, DC, and has spent her career working across the DC, Baltimore, and regional theatre communities.

Her recent work includes Holes at Baltimore Center Stage, Downstate and At the Wedding at Studio Theatre, and Miss Nelson Is Missing at Imagination Stage.

Emily is drawn to work that is funny, complex, provocative, and deeply human. She loves finding the humor, heart, and contradictions in characters that make them feel real.

Born in Washington, D.C., Emily spent her childhood overseas in Egypt, Kenya, and Jordan before returning to the D.C. area. Her early experiences at the Kennedy Center, Imagination Stage, Adventure Theatre, and The Puppet Co. sparked her love of theatre and performance. She earned her BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has been working professionally in regional theatre for more than a decade.

When she’s not onstage, Emily enjoys engaging in new experiences through travel, climbing, eating good food, and being out in nature.

She is grateful to the artists, workers, teachers, directors, and audiences who continue to make theatre such a meaningful part of her life.
