Emily is an actor based in her hometown of Washington, D.C.
She studied acting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has performed regionally for over a decade, at the perpetual age of 29.
She is passionate for performing contemporary work that explores the fullness of humanity, and has a knack for comedy, characterization, and dialects.
She has been critically acclaimed by social media bloggers as “one of the dullest performances ever seen on a DC stage” and the Washington Post called her “Winningly understated”, she has never been nominated for a Helen Hayes award.
She is a labor union advocate and a proud member of Actor’s Equity and IATSE. She currently serves as an officer of her IATSE Local, 868.
A child of USAID workers, Emily lived portions of her life overseas in Egypt, Kenya, Jordan, and the DC area.
She currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband and dog.
